A female Brambling was in the garden today with the Chaffinches. The male Blackcap also still present along with a Goldcrest & Great spotted Woodpecker.

Mute Swans, Astley Park, 6-12/12/08

Mute Swans are something of a rarity in Astley Park

and the male of the pair was sporting a blue leg ring

with the letters 'SLI' on it. Details of the ring will be

posted in due course.
